There’s That FMS Screen Again!

This screen is becoming more and more utilized by top collegiate and professional teams. It is simply a movement test consisting of 7 specific screens to help identify any imbalance or asymmetry, as well as mobility and stability. Any particular screen where an athlete does not meet the specific standard, they are then assigned a series of corrective exercises to help clean it up. Often athletes have certain restrictions or imbalances due to previous injuries, and this screen helps identify areas that need work. The overall purpose is to have a balanced and mobile body that when trained will be less likely to be injured.
